This is a letter to the fandom as a whole. I just really wanted to express how grateful I am for this community. I don't know where I would be today if it wasn't for you guys.

To all the fic writers, artists, and creators, I owe my life to you. Thank you so much for your service and everything you do. You are the reason I am and feel alive. The way I have read life changing sentences in fanfiction - it can't be explalined in words.
But I'll try. Because you deserve all the praise in the world.

I've seen deeply moving art in this fandom, I've stared at works for hours! trying to understand how a human being oceans apart from me, could understand exactly how I felt. That too at such a depth. It's mind blowing. It's INSANE. But oh, do I love it. I am constantly in a daze of daydreaming about these characters and it's such a comfort that there are so many people out there who are the same. It gives me hope for a better future.

Because it's not just the ships and the fandoms and all, it's also : discussions about everyday life, social issues, where we stand on everything that's happening around the world. It's about connection, community and most of all humanity.

So thank you, for being there for me when no one else could.
